- Specialization and flexibility
in the rubber parts manufacturing industry can only be
achieved by the existence of a mixture preparation department
inside the manufacturing plant, which will be responsible
for both the preparation of mixtures and the development
of new mixtures.
Tekno Kauçuk, with it’s mixing capacity of 5000 ton/year,
not only meets it’s own demands for production, but it
also meets the demands coming from various rubber manufacturers
from it’s sector. The compounding department consists
of 2 closed mixers, which make it possible for us to meet
the black and colored mixture demands, with the automatic
feeding system in a clean working environment. In the
department, with the use of computer controlled measurement
systems, the amount of chemical and accelerators that
will be used in the mixtures is determined and controlled
by the computer, which eliminates all the measurement
mistakes that can be done.
Knowing that one of the most important things in our sector
is to make optimum recipes that will give us economic
advantage and at the same time satisfy the specifications
of our customers. Therefore, to increase our competitive
advantage, Tekno Kauçuk has a laboratory that has all
the necessary equipments to measure the rheometric and
static specifications of mixtures including the laboratory
scaled close mixer.
For every mixture prepared, critical tests are made to
see if the mixture meets the specifications. Approval
can only be given to the mixtures for which all of the
test results are within tolerance limits. To assure the
quality of our mixtures, periodical tests are repeated
both in our laboratory and in private laboratories.
Tekno Kauçuk, with its two mixing lines equipped with
automatic feeding and computer controlled measurement
systems and experienced employees can use more than 300
black and colored recipes. The types of rubbers that we
use in our manufacturing processes are listed below.
